He brings expertise in disease prediction, demographics, psychographics, clustering, marketing, research, data, and media to help organizations drive value from technology. Fetherling’s career has been a series of “firsts” in various industry segments. He built one of the first public health portals at HCA, created the first home health use rates, directed the first live surgery and first live birth on the Internet, and created the first K-12 health curriculum online. Most recently, he founded and launched the first cloud-based care management system. Fetherling served as President/CEO of the Nashville Technology Council. He led the Technology Council through a growth phase that included a re-branding of the 10-year-old organization and increased membership by 29% and revenue by 89%. The organization served more than 400 companies connecting 23,000 tech workers in Middle Tennessee. In addition, he helped launch the Nashville Entrepreneur Center in partnership with the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce. Fetherling was recognized as a member of the Nashville Entrepreneur Hall of Fame in 2012 and the Nashville Technology Hall of Fame in 2013. He was Trevor A. Fisk 1999 Young Marketer of the Year, a prestigious honor that recognizes the contributions of outstanding healthcare marketing professionals.
